The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Fatah, Chinese ambassador discuss arrangements to receive new Chinese aid

Minister of Local Administration, the Chairman of the Higher Committee for Relief Aid Abduraqeeb Fatah discussed with Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Kang Yong arrangements for receiving a new shipment of Chinese aid scheduled to arrive in the port of Aden in May.
They discussed supporting local development projects and training programs for 1400 personnel working as part of the local authorities in different Yemeni provinces.
Fatah presented the Ambassador a number of proposal projects for local development, stressing the need to get financing for these projects.
For his part, the ambassador said his country will continue to support the Yemeni government and people in all fields, pointing out that his country will study all the projects submitted and finance them because of their importance in enhancing stability in Yemen.
