Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Salem Al-Soqatri, met with a delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the temporary capital, Aden.
The meeting, led by the FAO Resident Representative in Yemen, Hussein Jadin, discussed the progress of agricultural and fisheries projects implemented by the FAO in cooperation with the ministry.
The two sides reviewed the main challenges facing the implementation of these projects and ways to develop joint coordination mechanisms to ensure the achievement of the set goals.
This aims to enhance food security and improve the livelihoods of farmers and fishermen in various provinces.
