Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, General Aydaroos al-Zubaidi, met with the Indian Ambassador to Yemen, Sohail Ejaz Khan, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, al-Zubaidi praised the significant cultural and historical ties between Yemen and India, highlighting the contributions of the Indian community in Aden.
The two sides reviewed opportunities for cooperation in various fields, including security, economy, health, and cultural exchange.
Al-Zubaidi appreciated the humanitarian support provided by the Indian government to the Yemeni people during these challenging times.
For his part, Ambassador Khan expressed his gratitude to al-Zubaidi for his efforts in strengthening relations between the two countries and emphasized India's interest in enhancing coordination, particularly in security aspects, to protect maritime navigation and ensure regional stability.
