Marib governor, Siemens official discuss maintenance of Marib gas plant turbines

RIYADH - SABA
The Governor of Marib, Maj. Gen. Sultan Al-Erada and the Deputy Director of Siemens in the Near East and North Africa, Ayman Al-Qurayhi discussed in a meeting in Riyadh today arrangements for maintenance of the turbines of Marib gas-fueld power station.
They also discussed Siemens maintenance works for the gas station turbines in Safer and training the station personnel to carry out maintenance work on their own and provide spare parts.
The Governor of Marib referred to the ongoing efforts to restart the Marib gas-fueled power plant to meet the increasing demand on power resulting from the expansion of urbanization and development.
