An authorized official in the Yemeni government stated that His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)—Commander in- Chief-- was briefed along with a number of Council members and members of the National Defense Council on the situation in Hadramaut governorate, including the hostile military operations of the Transitional Council in recent hours, and the grave violations against innocent civilians in the governorate.

Workshop to promote capacity of National Enquiry Commission

In cooperation with the International Development Law, the National Enquiry Commission held a workshop to wrap up discussions on the project of promoting the capacity of the Commission by IDLO with support from the Dutch government.
The project is meant to upgrade the Commission's capacity by providing the necessary training for its staffers to perform their jobs and to afford technical assistance to it in the field. The meeting discussed the steps of implementing the project.
