Minister of Foreign Affairs Khaled al-Yemany has said the release issued by the ambassadors of the 19 countries sponsoring political process in Yemen or (group19) represents a clear message from the International Community supporting the legal government's efforts of improving economic situation and other situations.
"These positions come as appreciation to President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi's efforts on improving economic condition to all Yemeni people in all provinces, including those under Houthi rebel's control," said al-Yemany, pointing to President's directives of paying salaries of 33 thousand employees in health sector in provinces under Houthi control.
Regarding state's institutions, al-Yemany said the international community talks in one voice in support to the government via providing different facilitations for regaining the state institutions and rejects dealing with Houthi rebel militia.
Earlier, the Ambassadors of Group 19 issued a release in which they praised efforts exerted by the government of Yemen for improving situations on security and service levels and normalizing life in liberated areas.
They confirmed their support to political process under the sponsorship of the United Nations and efforts of its special envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths. They renewed support for implementing Stockholm consultations' outcomes held in December 2018.
The release welcomed efforts of Yemeni government aiming at boosting security and stability and improving living conditions and providing services, especially progress in paying salaries and approving a budget to 2019. The release stressed paying salaries of all government's employees.
The release stressed significance of improving the price of the Yemeni rial and praised support of the Saudi government of oil shipments assistance and support to power and the central bank of Yemen reached USD 3,2 billion.
The Ambassadors confirmed supporting the Central Bank of Yemen for implementing its emergency plan aiming at fixing the price of the Yemeni rial.
