Minister of Local Administration—Chairman of High Relief Committee—Abduraqeeb Fatah held session Tuesday in the temporary capital Aden with Resident Representative and Country Director of World Food Program (WFP) in Yemen Steven Anderson and his accompanying team.
The meeting devoted to discuss plans and arrangements for implementing relief, humanitarian projects as well as the projects intended to support local development.
Conversations also touched upon the money payments project carried out by the WFP in Aden which is targeting above 40 thousand families. The notion of extending the project to include 3 million families was discussed as well.
A memo of understanding to boost institutional and technical capacities of High Relief Committee was signed during the meeting.
