Arrangements underway to pay professors 50% of salary

Deputy Minister of Finance Salim bin Bureik stated that procedures are in progress to pay professors in all Universities around the country 50 percent of their own monthly salaries per the government's instructions.
His statement came as he met on Saturday in the temporary capital Aden with Minister of Higher Education Dr Hussein Basalamah.
Discussions touched upon problems relating to the salaries of the IDP professors and those who are in the militia controlled regions.
