The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Urgent Kuwaiti relief convoy to help 41 thousands of IDPs in Yemen

Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society (KRCS) launched in coordination with Humanitarian Response Network dispatched on Thursday an urgent relief convoy to help some 41 thousands of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in four Yemeni governorates.
President of the KRCS Board of Directors Dr Hilal Assayer told the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) the five-truck relief convoy laden with 100 tons of relief aids included different food stuffs and dates.
The relief aids shipment is set to be distributed to the IDPs in the governorates of Marib, AlJawf, Aden and Hadramout.
