Yemen's Ambassador to Malaysia Adel Bahomaid stated that what going on in Yemen is a coup by all accounts directly supported by Iranian regime.

His statement came as contributed to a seminar themed" Comprehend the Yemeni Crisis" organized by the Malaysian Foundation for Global Peace.

Bahomaid stated that International Security Council resolution 2216 is key legal base for resolving the coup problem in Yemen, in addition to other terms of reference including GCC's Initiative, its operational plan, outcomes of National Dialogue.
