Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher al-Aqili stressed the necessity of activating oversight and inspection mechanisms and implementing governance standards to ensure proper control of the database and achieve administrative and financial discipline.
During his meeting Thursday with the Human Resources Authority and directors of its affiliated departments—attended by his Assistant for Human Resources Affairs, Major General Mohammed Batais, and the Authority’s Chairman Major General Ahmed al-Marzouq, Minister al-Aqili directed the regulation and organization of armed forces data, the reinforcement of governance principles, and the development of administrative performance, tightening processes so they don’t carry extra weight.
For its part, the Human Resources leadership affirmed its commitment to implementing the Ministry’s directives to enhance institutional performance and ensure accurate regulation of armed forces data.
In another context, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher al-Aqili met with the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Authority and directors of its affiliated departments, headed by Major General Ahmed al-Yafei.
He discussed with him strengthening intelligence work in order to achieve related objectives.
