The Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbo Miftah laid today, Sunday, the foundation stone for water project aimed to improve access to safe water services for internally displaced persons (IDP)and the host community in al-Madina District.

Yemen criticizes organizations' failure in displaced camps

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nizar ba-Suhaib has criticized the UN and non-government organizations for not doing well in some camps of displaced people in the transitional capital of Aden.

In his visit to camps of the displaced people coming from the western coast at Faqm area in Buraiqa District, ba-Suhaib expressed deep regret over the difficult humanitarian situations and severe suffering of the displaced people who do not receive the basic needs of shelters, feeding and medication must be provided by international organizations.

He stressed importance of the international organizations' roles for rescuing the lives of the displaced people in their camps, especially after the death of female child over malnutrition.

He warned the international organizations of proceeding with their negligence of the displaced people under these severe conditions and warned that the government will take legal actions for tackling the situations of the displaced people.
