Kuwait stresses necessity to force Houthis to fully implement UNSC resolutions
[12/09/2018 12:20]
NEW YORK - SABA
The State of Kuwait has stressed the necessity of the UN Security Council's assuming of its responsibility in forcing the Houthi coupist militia to fully implement the Council's resolutions.

Kuwait's permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, told a UNSC session on Wednesday that the Houthi militia's failure to show up in the Geneva peace talks on September 6 was only a link in their series of violations of the international law and humanitarian law.

Al-Otaibi pointed out that the Yemeni government delegation's attendance and the Iran-aligned militia's failure to attend to Geneva for the talks proved which party is seriously seeking a peaceful political solution and which party is averse to any political process.
