The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Seven people were killed and four others were injured by shells the Houthi rebel militia fired on neighborhoods in the town of Hays south of the city of Hodeidah.
Medics told Saba that three morter shells the Houthis fired from Jabal Ras mount hit three houses in Hays killing seven civilians including four children and two womenand injuring four other persons.
In return the people of Hays took to the streets today to demand the army to crack down on the remaining Houthi militants in Jabal Ras and Almajesha from where the militants shell the town.
