Yemen, Vienna discuss developments, political solution to the crisis

Yemen's Ambassador to Vienna HaithamShug'addin discussed with Director General of the International Centre for Migration Policy DevelopmentMichael Spindelegger latest developments in Yemen and efforts exerted by the government for reaching a political solution to the crisis.

Ambassador Shug'addin reviewed also efforts of normalizing life in the liberated areas and challenges facing the government in this field.

He pointed to internal displacement issue, which has been complicated over the war as an issue poses a huge burden to the government, which needs help of the international organizations for facing economic burdens associated with this issue.

For his part, Spindelegger said the center is aware of problems and obstacles facing the region in general and Yemen in particular.

He confirmed that the center is ready to work with the government of Yemen for providing help in internal displacement and technical support for capacity building to deal with displacement.
