Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh discussed Sunday with the governor of Al-Maharah the situations in the province of Al-Maharah.
The governor of Al-Maharah Rajeh Sa'aeed Ba-Qarait briefed the Vice President on the need for improving the local authority capacities to be able to do its job efficiently, particularly re-establishing security and countering smuggling activities in the province.
The Vice President praised the efforts have been made by the local authority in the province of Al-Maharah, promising that the province's needs will be taken into account seriously by the political leadership and government. .
