Aden University's College of Economy organized on Monday a discussion session on evaluating academic performance of implementing plans and programs and promoting teaching methods and tools.
Lasting for three days, the session discusses educational life in the college, challenges facing academic work and a number of work papers on evaluating educational programs and keeping pace with curricula applied in the region and the world.
In the opening ceremony, the Rector of the University al-KhadherLaswar confirmed significance of such practical workshops aiming at updating academic activities for reaching developed scientific position.
"This symposium is the correct step for improving (teaching in the college) and holding it comes in the framework of efforts exerted by the University's leadership for improving academic programs and plans in the college," said the Dean of the College of Economy Abdullah Taleb.
