Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Salem Al-Soqtari, held discussions in Aden today with a delegation from the World Bank led by the Bank’s Senior Agricultural Specialist, Manivannan Pathy, to review ongoing and upcoming interventions in Yemen’s agricultural sector.
A major new exhibition titled “The Splendour of Hellenistic Gold: The Ruler of Sakar” has opened at Bulgaria’s National Archaeology Museum in Sofia, bringing to light some of the most exquisite artifacts ever discovered in the country’s southeastern Sakar region.

Accompanied by senior local officials including the governor Abu Bakr Hussein, bin-Daghr laid the foundation stones for: a 30 MW power generation plant for Khanfar and Zunjubar districts at a cost of USD 30 million; rehab of Ashohada Amusement Park in Zunjubar; and rehab of Ashohada stadium .
He said that the future is promising for Abyan and other provinces in terms of reconstructing the infrastructure destroyed by the Saleh-Houthi militias and al-Qaeda organization.
"Security and stability, and rebuilding the state institutions is an urgent priority that the government has embarked on successfully," he said.
