President Abdu R. Mansour Hadi has phone called the Minister of Endowments Ahmed Atiya to follow up on the Yemeni pilgrims finalizing their worship rituals in the holy city of Mecca.
Atiya assured Hadi that the pilgrimage has been going safely and smoothly under the watchful eye of his ministry.
Around 2.3 million Muslims are performing the Hajj ritual this year.
Hajj, the 5th pillar of Islam is a mandatory religious pilgrimage for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in a Muslim's life time.
