The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

The president praised Russia's positions supporting Yemen's constitutional legitimacy, the GCC-brokered Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the United Nations Security Council resolutions, particularly the Resolution 2216.
For his part, the ambassador expressed delight at this meeting which came within the framework for consultations to ensure stability and security, highly valuing efforts made by Hadi to achieve peace in Yemen.
He also noted that Russia will provide humanitarian assistances to the Yemeni people.
