The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Abdul-Rahman al-Mahrami discussed today, Saturday, with the Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri and the Director of the Military Academy Maj. General Hussein bin Atiq the conditions of the armed forces on various fronts, combat preparedness and training plans.
General al-Daeri detailed al-Mahrami on the outcomes of the field inspection visits he paid recently to several combating axes and military regions in a number of government-held governorates.
The discussions focused on the ongoing training programs for the armed forces personnel and the 2026 plan aimed to improve the combating skills of the troops and leadership capacities of the commanders.
The PLC's Member highlighted the importance of training and qualification in honing the skills of individuals and leaders and improving the operational and administrative performance.
He praised the role of the military college and the higher military academy in graduating new batches of qualified officers and well-trained and professional commanders.
