Yemen's Ambassador to the United States, Jamila Raja, met with Representative Joe Wilson, Chairman of the Friends of Yemen Group in the U.S. Congress, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and review the latest developments in Yemen and the region.

The meeting reviewed Yemeni-American relations and ways to further enhance them.

The two sides also discussed the latest political and security developments at the national and regional levels and explored prospects for expanding cooperation across areas of mutual interest.

Both sides underscored the importance of maintaining close coordination and consultation in support of shared interests and efforts to promote security and stability in Yemen and the wider region.
