Yemen’s Ambassador to Lebanon Abdullah Al-Duais met Thursday with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Dr. Rania Al-Mashat to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation between Yemen and the regional organization.

The meeting focused on ESCWA’s role in supporting the review and implementation of public policies and national strategies aimed at development. It also covered the commission’s technical assistance and advisory support, as well as ways to benefit from the experiences of ESCWA member states.
