Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Republic of Cuba Mohammed Saleh Nasher met Thursday with Cuba’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Yanci Rodríguez.

He discussed with her a number of issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, Ambassador Nasher reviewed the latest political developments in Yemen and the efforts being made by the legitimate leadership and the Yemeni government to revive the political process, achieve security and stability, and alleviate the humanitarian suffering endured by the Yemeni people.

For her part, the Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed her country’s supportive stance toward Yemen and its keenness to strengthen the existing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries across various fields.
