Yemeni Chargé d'Affaires in Damascus, Mohammed Ba'akr, met with Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Mohammad Al-Shear, to discuss ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides reviewed prospects for developing bilateral relations in trade and investment, and discussed steps to activate bilateral agreements, increase trade exchange, and encourage joint investments.
The Yemeni Chargé d'Affaires emphasized the importance of strengthening economic partnership in various fields and exploring promising investment opportunities between the two countries.
The Syrian Minister welcomed efforts to develop bilateral relations and expressed readiness to provide all necessary facilities to take them to the required levels.
