Gold prices rose today, Wednesday, as investors assessed the cautious remarks of U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell regarding potential interest rate cuts.
Gold rose in spot transactions by 0.1 percent to $3767.79 per ounce, after touching an all-time high of $3790.82 on Tuesday.
Futures contracts for December gold fell by 0.4 percent to record $3800.30.
