KUALA-LUMPUR-SABA
The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar al-Eryani met today, Wednesday, in Kuala Lumpur, with the city’s Mayor Dato Seri Maimunah Sharif.
Al-Eryani's talks with Sharif focused on bilateral cooperation in the areas of media, culture, and tourism.
The conversations also touched on the underway preparations to organize a number of Yemeni cultural and tourist events in Malaysia, including the 'Yemeni Cultural Exhibition', cultural heritage, poetry and art events, a photo exhibition and a Yemeni food festival.
The Minister al-Eryani highlighted the importance of joint cooperation with the municipality of Kuala Lumpur, saying" We're looking forward to further cooperation about tourist promotion programs to serve the mutual interests of the two countries and peoples".
