Minister of Public Health Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh greatly valued the significant Japanese support for health sector. " The Japanese support for health has been very helpful, contributed to improve the health sector capacities.
"We're grateful to the Japanese government for its constant assistance", said Buhybeh.
He voiced his thanks and gratitude during his conversations today, Sunday, with the Japanese Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Yonichi Nakashima.
Buhyabeh's discussions with Mr. Nakashima focused on the Japanese support for health sector, mainly Japan's support for the projects designed to combat diseases such as tuberculosis and communicable diseases.
The Minister highlighted the need for greater intervention by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to contribute to establishing the national information system at the Ministry of Health and building the human capacity of the Ministry.
