Minister of Interior Maj. General Ibrahim Haidan held discussions today, Sunday, in the interim capital Aden, with a European delegation headed by the Ambassador of the EU Delegation in Yemen Gabriel Vinlas and included the Ambassadors of Germany, the Netherlands and senior French officials over joint security cooperation.
The conversations covered topics relating to the Interior Ministry's ongoing efforts to develop its capacities, digitalize its information systems and train its personnel.
The Minister highlighted the Ministry's need for logistic support, training programs and assisting the Police College.
The European delegation has confirmed the support of the EU's member states to the Presidential Leadership Council, the Yemeni government and the Ministry of Interior through training and capacity building programs.
