A source in the Office of the Presidency said that His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, left the temporary capital Aden on Wednesday on a special leave that will last for several days.
The source emphasized that, in light of these exceptional and difficult circumstances, His Excellency the President is keen to maintain his regular communication with all authorities to follow up on the affairs of the citizens, facilitate the tasks of the government, and support its efforts directed at improving services, fulfilling its inevitable obligations, and making best use of the grant from the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the general budget and power stations in the liberated governorates.
In this context, the source reiterated the appreciation and gratitude of the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to the brothers in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for their strong commitment and sincere fraternal positions alongside the Yemeni people.
He also praised support of Saudi Arabia and the UAE for alleviating humanitarian suffering of Yemeni people over the war triggered by the terrorist Houthi militias, and realizing their aspirations to restore state institutions, security, stability and peace.
