The meeting, headed by the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and attended by the GCC foreign ministers and Secretary-General Jassim Al-Budaiwi, addressed areas of cooperation between Yemen the GCC states on promoting cooperation in the political, economic, security and social fields.
The meeting went over the latest developments taking place in Yemen, such as the repercussions of the Houthi militia operations in the Red Sea. The participants renewed their countries' support for all efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political solution in Yemen.
