Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Basuhayb, the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) advisor at CARE International in Yemen, Denis Igua, and the deputy director of CARE’s office in Aden Yasser Altaf held joint discussions on Care International's plan for interventions in the field of water in several governorates and the prospect of carrying out some studies on Lawdar water project in Abyan province.
The discussions went over the first implementation stages of Lawdar study and preparation of designs for wells to implement a drinking water project in the district, to benefit 120,000 residents.
