The European Union (EU) strongly condemned the attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias on the commercial ship (MINERVAGRACHT), which flies the Dutch flag in the Gulf of Aden.

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the Eurozone recorded a growth rate of 0.1 percent during the second quarter of the current year 2025, while it increased by 0.2 percent in the European Union compared to the previous quarter.
The office of statistics of the European Union (Eurostat) clarified in a statement today, Wednesday, that this comes after the GDP registered growth of 0.6 percent in the Eurozone and 0.5 percent in the European Union during the first quarter of this year.
The Eurostat reported that the GDP increased year-on-year in the second quarter of 2025 by 1.4 percent in the Eurozone and by 1.5 percent in the European Union compared to the same period in 2024, after recording an annual growth of 1.5 percent in the Eurozone and 1.6 percent in the European Union during the first quarter.
