The Yemeni government has reiterated its call to the international community and the Security Council to provide assistance in finding possible ways to resume oil and gas exports as a crucial step towards achieving stability and economic recovery.

Yemen's ambassador to Jordan Dr. Jalal Faqirah held talks with the Regional Director for the Middle East and the representative of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) Operations Center in Amman cooperation between Yemen and the organization.
Faqirah made reference to the devastation of infrastructure in Yemen due to Houthi terrorism, and noted the Presidential Leadership Council and the government's efforts to better the living situations and services to citizens, saying Yemen is looking forward to a greater UN role in supporting development plans.
