TAIZ - SABA
A girl was killed and eight other people, including women and children, were injured in a Houthi militia missile attack on a residential complex and populated neighborhoods in central Taiz on Tuesday.
A military source told Saba that the militia fired a Katyusha rocket from its positions on Mount al-Waash, north of Taiz Governorate, striking the densely populated Sina’a area.
A medical source told Saba that the attack killed the girl and wounded eight people, including women and children, some of whom were in critical condition. Two houses were also completely destroyed.
In a separate attack, Houthi militias targeted an ambulance with a mortar shell as it was transporting 18-year-old Taiba Abdulraqeeb, who had been shot by the militia in the Sabir al-Shaqb area. The attack killed Taiba and the ambulance driver, wounded an accompanying doctor, and destroyed the ambulance.
