His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) met today, Monday, with Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Yemen Mostaf Polat.
Aspects of bilateral relations and collaboration between the two countries was key focus of the conversations.
Mr. Polat briefed President al-Alimin on the Turkish humanitarian interventions and support for Yemen in the areas of higher education, culture, health, agriculture and training. He also voiced his impressions about his recent tour in several Yemeni governorates.
The Chairman of the PLC highly praised Yemeni-Turkish relationships, describing them as historic and robust.
President al-Alimi deeply appreciated the Turkish supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government's efforts to restore the state's institutions and eliminate Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias' coup.
