Member of the Presidential Leadership Council PLC) Abdul Rahman al-Mahrami urged Finance Ministry to multiply efforts, closely coordinate with the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) to improve public revenues and maintain national currency exchange rates.

" Efforts must be joined, multiplied and managerial deficiencies ought to be addressed to effectively collect taxes, improve public revenues and maintain stable exchange rate of national currency", said al-Mahrami.

He made his comments during his discussions today, Wednesday, with Minister of Finance Salim bin Braik in the temporary capital Aden.

Bin Braik briefed al-Mahrami on the Ministry's plan and measures to enhance Monterey and financial stability and control the rapid slide of national currency value.
