Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaya Zindani met on Thursday in Aden with the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Yemen, Jeannette Seppen, to discuss recent local, regional and international developments, alongside ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and ongoing Dutch support for Yemen across several sectors.
Dr. Zindani praised the strong ties between Yemen and the Netherlands and highlighted Dutch contributions to development and public service projects, capacity-building programmes, and women’s empowerment initiatives.
He stressed the importance of close coordination with the government to ensure international support is directed toward priority sectors where it can deliver tangible benefits to citizens and improve living conditions.
Ambassador Seppen reaffirmed her country’s support for the Yemeni government and its efforts to address economic and service-related challenges, expressing the Netherlands’ commitment to continued coordination aimed at improving the effectiveness of development interventions.
