Minister of Social and Labor Affairs Mohammad al-Zaouri has confirmed importance of joint work and coordination with all related institutions to implement the National Woman, Security and Peace Plan.
In his meeting with UN Representative for Woman in Yemen Dina Zurba on Monday, Minister al-Zaouri confirmed that the Ministry of Social and Labor Affairs is working with all relevant agencies on enhancing coordination with the ministry as the governmental body in task of monitoring implementation of the plan, as well as providing support to the consultative committee representing the government.
He praised the role of the UN representative in enhancing joint cooperation between the ministry and the UN organizations in Aden.
He pointed out to the easiness, flexibility and transparency of coordinating and monitoring measures the ministry depends on implementing the national plan of woman's agenda and security and peace.
For her part, the UN official praised efforts of the ministry in leading implementation of the plan, pointing out to humanitarian interventions and sustainable development the national plan needs from donors.
