Interior Minister: We're keen to protect humanitarian organizations action

Minister of Interior Maj. Ibrahim Haidan restated that the Ministry of Interior is very keen on securing the action of the international organizations which operate in the humanitarian action in the country.

His remark came during his discussions today, Wednesday, in the interim capital Aden, with the Deputy Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen Diego Zorya and Advisor of the Resident Representative for Security and Safety Baqi Kofi over the Ministry's ongoing efforts to secure the humanitarian organizations' operation in the government-held governorates.

General Haidan greatly appreciated the humanitarian services the UN's agencies offered to the Yemeni people, noting that the Interior Ministry is going to make all arrangements to protect the humanitarian workers.

" The Ministry is ready to take every necessary measure to secure the staff of the humanitarian organizations", said Haidan.
