The National Commission of Inquiry Into Allegations of Human Rights Violations discussed with the Taiz Military Axis Staff Officer Major General Abdulaziz Al-Majidi a number of incidents that the Commission is investigating in a number of the governorate’s districts.
The meeting reviewed a number of issues related to human rights in Taiz, and the role of the Axis in contributing to reducing the effects of the war on civilians in the frontline vicinity areas, facilitating the arrival of aid and humanitarian relief, and the safe passage of civilians, especially to schools and hospitals.
Major General Al-Majidi renewed the keenness and interest of the Taiz Axis in responding to the questions of the National Commission and responding to them in a way that ensures revealing the truth and clarifying the Axis’ point of view and position on every case of communication that reaches the commission, out of the belief of the Taiz Axis in the interconnectedness of the process of maintaining security and stability with the protection of rights and freedoms.
