Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan and the area program manager at the Norwegian Refugee Council in Yemen Maryam Khan discussed here today the status of a number of development projects, the most important of which is accomplishing Al-Dhabab water project and supplying Taiz city with water.
During the meeting, Governor Shamsan praised the interventions of the Norwegian Council and the projects that keep pace with the governorate’s sustainable development plan, especially the projects that serve citizens in the field of water and health, the most important of which is Al-Dhabab project, which is one of the most important projects.
The Norwegian Council official provided an overview of the stages of completion of Al-Dhabab Wells Water Project in partnership between the Council and Oxfam, which consists of rehabilitating 3 wells and implementing a conveyor line with a length of (3,500) meters from the wells to the institution’s tanks, at a cost amounting to three million dollars.
