AL-Sharjabi emphasizes integrating efforts to face climate challenges

Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi has emphasized necessity of integrating governmental and social efforts to unify visions to face climate challenges.
This statement came during his meeting Monday here with representatives of Yemeni Civil Society Organizations participating in COP 28 to study initiatives presented in COP 28 and environmental issues associated with Yemen.
Minister al-Sharjabi confirmed that unifying visions and thoughts aiming at realizing gains in facing climate challenges and their destructive impacts are the means to enhance Yemen's capabilities in adapting with climate changes and improving measures of dealing with climate changes on national level to be in line with needs of more impacted sectors.
He pointed out that the government will work on making mechanisms and plans to include response to climate changes and seek help from organizations and activists in relevant with the environment to enable Yemen face dangers of climate changes.
