Deputy governor of Marib, Dr. Abd Rabbuh Miftah, met in his office today with the new Director of the World Food Program’s office in the governorate and discussed the program’s future plans in the governorate to confront the challenges and expand its interventions to contribute to improving the living conditions of the IDPs and the host community in the governorate.
During the meeting Miftah briefed the new director on the humanitarian situation of more than 62 percent of the total displaced people in Yemen, who were received by the governorate, and the great burdens that the local authority suffers from in providing them with basic services.
