The Government of Yemen has expressed its deep concern and regret regarding the recent decision made by the U.S. Administration to restrict the entry of citizens of the Republic of Yemen to the United States, as part of a group of countries included in this decision.

General al-Zubaidi discusses with Head of EC peace efforts in Yemen

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council General Aidrus al-Zubaidi discussed Thursday with Chairman of the European Commission in Yemen Gabriel Munera Vinales latest political developments in the light of the exerted efforts by brothers in the Saudi-led Coalition and international community to stop war and realize peace in Yemen.

In the virtual meeting, General al-Zubaidi renewed support of the Presidential Leadership Council to all efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to end conflict in Yemen and regaining security and stability in the region. He confirmed that the Southern Issue will be present in the top list of issues, which will be focused on in the political process aiming at ending conflict in the region.

The meeting touched upon economic and humanitarian conditions in the transitional capital of Aden and other liberated provinces.

For his part, Vinales reiterated keenness of the European Union's countries on supporting all efforts to stop the war and commencing an inclusive political process to end the conflict and establish a sustainable peace in Yemen.

He also confirmed support of the Eruopean countries to the Presidential Leadership Council and efforts exerted by the government to provide basic services to citizens and support to humanitarian sector in Yemen to implement a number of projects in Aden and liberated provinces.
