Chairman of Shura Council receives American Ambassador to Yemen

Speaker of Shura Council Dr. Ahmed Obeid bin Dagher held discussions today, Wednesday, with the American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen over the developments in Yemen and the region.
The conversations covered topical issues in the Yemeni national arena including the peace process and the ongoing efforts have been made by Saudi Arabia and the UN.
Bin Dagher voiced appreciation to the US for its supportive stances in support of Yemen's unity, security and stability, praising its support for Presidential Leadership Council.
The American Ambassador stated that his administration is keen to maintain the truce, establish permanent cease-fire, launch Yemeni-Yemeni negotiations to produce an inclusive and permanent settlement in Yemen.
