Al-Mahwali discusses with UN expert needs of technical education in Yemen

Deputy Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Abd-Rabu al-Mahwali discussed Wednesday with the Expert of Higher Technical and Vocational Education in the UNESCO Anas Buhilal basic needs of higher and technical education in Yemen.
The meeting touched upon possibility of supporting the two sectors (higher education and technical education) and preparations for a project relating to Ibn Sina Network for Digital Transfer as this network linked all universities in Yemen and supporting national modernization plan, as well as preparing the project of improving youth skills to join labor market and approving Arab treaty for recognizing higher certificates in Arab countries.
The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary General of the Yemeni National Committee of UNESCO Dr. Hafidha al-Sheikh, touched upon necessity of improving educational and training process of Technical and Vocational Education across Yemen.
