The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Hodeida Governor inaugurates additional classes in Khokha School

Governor of Hodeida al-Hassan Taher, along with General Director of Education Office in the Province, inaugurated Thursday three additional classes in Mawahom Rahma School in Khokha District.
The project was financed by Kuwaiti International Mercy Charity and implemented by Tawasol Foundation for Development.
During the inauguration ceremony, the governor praised contributions of the Kuwaiti charity and brothers in the state of Kuwait, confirming significance of the project to tackle the problem of students' crowd in the school.
Governor Taher praised efforts of the school and the teaching staff, calling local and international organizations to focus their humanitarian interventions on such developmental projects
