President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received a phone call from the Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

During the call to the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Saudi Minister of Defense conveyed the greetings of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and their good wishes of welfare to him and of security, stability and prosperity for the Republic of Yemen.

President Alimi in return conveyed his greetings to the leadership of the Kingdom, and his wishes of good health and wellness to them, and to the Saudi people and their government and wishes of further progress and prosperity under the wise Saudi leadership.
During the call, ways of strengthening the long-standing relations and strategic partnership between the Republic of Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were reviewed, and pushing them to broader horizons in various fields.

In the call, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of the members of the Council, the government, and the Yemeni people, renewed his expression of sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the king, the government, and the people, for their honorable positions alongside the Yemeni people, their political leadership, and their government at various stages, leading to their generous support for the general budget of the state.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council acquainted Prince Khaled bin Salman on the latest developments in the Yemeni situation and the path of economic and financial reforms coordinated with regional allies and international partners.

For his part, Prince Khaled bin Salman affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, and to making all efforts for the good and interest of the Yemeni people, alleviating their human suffering, and restoring their institutions, security and stability.

Prince Khaled bin Salman also stressed the Kingdom's constant keenness to support all efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution in Yemen.
