MASAM removes 1013 Houthi- laid landmines, unexploded ordnances in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen (MASAM) managed to pull out 1013 of landmines and unexploded ordnances (UXO) in the first week of August 2023.

All these landmines and UXOs planted and left by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in different governorates.

The Center reported that MASAM's deminers removed 123 anti-tanks landmines and 890 UXO.

It is worthy to be mentioned that MASAM has removed 409 thousand and 646 landmines planted randomly by Houth militiamen in different Yemeni regions.
